Start Feeling

Emotions can be so overwhelming some times, it is actually not weird that we are almost programmed to ignore them, put them away instead of actually feeling and embracing them. The other day, I saw this hugely inspiring 2 minute video that explained pretty clearly what we actually do when we depress emotions like grief, anger & envy. It transforms grief into depression, anger into rage and envy into jealousy. And that is when we loose control. I cannot control depression, I can control grief. I can control anger but I cannot control rage. And of course envy, I can control that emotion but I cannot control jealousy.

So just ask yourself what would happen if you just let go? As all these emotions are really natural. In the end it is exactly what this short little video promotes. The key is not to stop feeling, it is to start.

Positive Thinking

Have you realised how much impact your thoughts have in your life?
Every single thought has an energy and gives you certain feelings and emotions…
Today I was feeling slightly down, talking inwards about the things I still have to get done. In the noon I started my workout and disconnected. I was not in my head. I started feeling strong. And a mind shift occured. I started thinking about how much I have accomplished. Thoughts like: “I did write to my old friends” “I workout each day the past 2 weeks” “I worked on my website” “I got 2 more clients” “I cooked an amazing meal last night” “I taught a new class on my own” “I met this awesome woman on the boat” “I dared to say something challenging the other day” “I am way stronger than 1 year ago”. Like a express train with no stops.
What a boost of energy!! The way you talk to yourself creates your reality… I knew that. But still amazes how big the impact is. Budha said it, simple “what you think, you become”
Be aware of your thoughts. Observe them. And see how much brighter they can be. And so your reality.

Words Create Reality

“The words you use become the temple you live in”. This quote totally resonates within. While looking at this boat in Stanley we reflect on the impact of our words. The ones pronounced. Which have a more tangible impact. And also the words “not pronounced”, those we use inwards. How do you talk to yourself?
